MSNBC and CBS Radio are suspending Don Imus for two weeks after the host described the Rutgers University women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos," the networks announced Monday. The suspensions start April 16. MSNBC said its "future relationship" with Imus depends on his ability to "change the discourse on his program."

This is complete BULL, seriously america supports fredom of speach and the right to express opinions. MANY ppl including the b-ball team do not believe he should have been fired for expressing his opinion. Its his right. No matter if we agree with it or not doesn;t change the fact that he has the right to say what he thinks. Its one of the things that makes this county worth living in. or it used to be. Now it is sooooo discriminised on what you can and cant say, we our lossing the first admendmant, but stupid ppl that dont think about the long term effects of this dont conisider this. They got mad, and want him to be punished, but dont consider what kind of changed will be made to laws that will limit what they(the accusing librals) can say in the future. Granted what he said was wrong and  I don't agree with it. BUT i respect his right that he can say what he did. Take into consideration Rap and Rock songs that are racial and detramental to women but they are played regularly on airwaves. This should have never gone to the point that it is now, at worst he should have been fined like sports players that make obscene gestures/argurments. I am very disappointed in what the media has doing with this case. :-(

hes pretty old though. old people tend to be rascist/prejudice.
by the way he might do what howard stern did.
if he does have enough money he can do satellite radio.
i think he does because hes been doing radio for 20+ years.
