how was everyone's weekend? tell me a story!

Once there was a weary traveler. 'Twas his birthday a few long days prior, and he took it upon himself to get verily smashed the weekend after (for you see, his date of birth landed on a rather dull wednesday). Traveling with his companions to downtown, in a strange city named Houston no less, he proceeding to get "fucked-up". Several blurry hours later, he took it upon himself to drive home -- stealing his keys back and running from his bemused companions. Needless to say, when one is running I find it is imperative to follow (For when one is running there must be something delicious that they wish to eat alone; hence the vigorous running. And who would I be if I didn't take every chance I could to find something delicious?). Although there was no delicious treat where he went -- his car -- there was my pack of wonderful gum. It had xylitol in it which helps fight tooth decay. Unfortunately for your tooth-savvy narrator, I could not find my gum. More to the point, the weary traveler I have been speaking of started his car and drove away. Aware we had left our other companions behind, we circled around. Moral of the story: Don't drive drunk or else the police officer pulling you over for an illegal left turn will take you downtown for fourteen hours and give you a DWI. I, however, escaped unscathed. Horray for me.
