The rest of the country makes fun of us I know very well. Yet the rest of the country has less common sense then my girlfriends dog. The rest of the country hates for no good reason. Newfoundland is horribly cheated of its resources and badly governed. Don't let me get into it.

gg, Britian couldn't support Newfoundland after the war and let the region go on its own. Thus the option of joining Canada came up and 49% of the population voted no and 51% voted yes. The ever so controversial referendum.
