Mods, there are spam usernames that have been created that are in need of deletion! I can't do em all! But I have made any account created  be approved by me before they can post, so that will eliminate the posts, but not the accounts.

Converting the message board to SMF will eliminate the problem .

Mods cant delete accounts. Last I check only admins could do the search and edit user information on the phpbb admin page. Zerg Im sure if you look around you can find a phpbbhack to allow it, But a simple fix would be what firewall just did, require admin auth on new accounts, and if new account not auth within X amount of time autoprone account.

Yes true that mods cant delete accounts. But we can delete/edit/lock/move the posts.

phpBB is by far the most exploited forum script ever written. Take a look at SMF, install a test board and try it out and I'm sure you will fall in love with it and never look back at this junk forum they call phpBB.
