ranks/titles discussion

situation: some feel we need titles/ranks since gamers have some strange fixation on them. i believe most of us don't care about a rank or a title, but younger folks do. the ranks now are based off of who i see on a daily basis and how they feel about being part of the clan, as must seem obvious to those who have bothered to browse over it.

as regards to what the ranks are, i have another set based more off of what dark's 12 year old mind may have come up with. i know a lot of younger ones may not understand why someone would be called a 'botmaster'

i know cetnik feels there are too many ranks.


basically, what there is to discuss is this:
1. how many ranks would people enjoy seeing
2. thoughts on theme (old ewr, feudal, etc)

most of us feel were on an equal basis anyways (we see no rank when we see one another <3 ), but it *will* foster a better environment for gamers. especially when sc2 comes out.

some ideas:
1. Leader >> Realmer >> Cadre >> Guild Master >> Lictor  >> Apprentice

2. Fedual (you've seen it)

3. Member: if youre good enough to be in the clan, youre a 'member'

4. the First >> Realmer >> Myths >> Realm Legends >> Slayers >> Hunters >> Sleepers

thoughts, opinions? just dont be douchey about it. im sleepy of complaints.

I like the feudal ranks, but I suppose we could drop a few.

Emperor - Arch-Duke - Duke - Baron - Knight - Peasant

Peasant is to be used on the forum only. It's main purpose is for outsiders who have registered.

I see Cet has replied while I was typing this, SMF rocks. I forgot about Council, which is good to have as it gives a false sense of leadership .

So my reprise:

I'm feelin the #4 rank list.. All of it actually minus the Realm Legends..  that one could be replaced. Lovin the realmer and myth rank tho. good shit frog.
